Refund Policy

The Marketplace sells (1) products sold directly by The Marketplace (“In-House Products”) and (2) affiliate products linked from our website but purchased from third-party retailers. This policy explains returns, refunds, and exchanges for each.
1) Product Types & Which Policy Applies
A) In-House Products (Sold by JAX  ManCave The Marketplace for Men)
All items purchased directly through JAX  ManCave The Marketplace for Men checkout are considered In-House Products, including categories such as rings, candles, soap, and clothing.
These purchases follow Sections 2–7.
B) Affiliate Products (Purchased from a Third Party)
Some items on our site may include links to third-party retailers. If you purchase on another retailer’s website after clicking a link, the purchase is not processed by The Marketplace.
These purchases follow Section 8.
2) In-House Returns, Refunds & Exchanges (14 Days)
Return / Exchange Window
You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery for eligible In-House Products.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and unaltered

  • In original condition

  • Returned with original packaging (if applicable)

  • Returned with proof of purchase (order number/receipt)

Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
Unless required by law, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Items marked Final Sale or Clearance

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Opened or used personal care items for hygiene reasons (including soap and similar body/grooming products once opened/used)

  • Items damaged due to misuse, normal wear and tear, improper care, or accidents

Clothing — Requirements
For clothing returns/exchanges:

  • Must be unworn and unwashed

  • Must have tags attached (if applicable)

Rings — Special Notes

  • Resized or altered rings are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item arrived defective or we sent the wrong item.

  • If you need a different size, contact us first so we can confirm eligibility.

3) Exchanges & Shipping Costs
We offer exchanges for eligible In-House Products within 14 days of delivery, subject to inventory availability.
A) Free Exchanges (We cover return + reship)
We will cover return shipping and replacement shipping if the exchange is due to:

  1. Wrong item sent, or

  2. Wrong size sent by us (you ordered correctly, we shipped incorrectly), or

  3. Item arrived damaged or defective (see Section 6 for reporting deadline and photo requirements).

B) Customer-Size Exchanges (You pay return, we cover reship)
If you selected the wrong size at checkout (example: wrong ring size or clothing size), you may still exchange within 14 days if eligible. In that case:

  • You pay return shipping, and

  • We cover shipping for the replacement item (standard shipping method).

Notes:

  • If the replacement item is out of stock, you may choose store credit or a refund.

  • We may require the original item to be received and inspected before shipping the replacement.

4) Refunds & Store Credit (In-House)
Refund Method
If your return is approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Store Credit Option
You may choose store credit instead of a refund. Store credit:

  • Is issued after the return is received and inspected

  • Has no cash value

  • Is non-transferable (unless required by law)

  • Can be used toward future purchases at The Marketplace

5) Returns (Refunds) & Shipping Costs (In-House)

  • If a return is due to our error (wrong item) or a verified defect/damage on arrival, we will cover return shipping.

  • For all other approved returns, customer pays return shipping.

Original Shipping Costs
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where required by law or if the return is due to our error.
6) Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item
Notify us within 72 hours of delivery and include photos of:

  • The item issue

  • Packaging

  • Shipping label

We will offer a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund depending on the situation and availability.
7) How to Start a Return or Exchange
Email: admin@jaxamancave.com within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Order number

  • Item(s) you want to return/exchange

  • Reason for return/exchange

  • For exchanges: preferred size/color/variant

  • Photos (required for damage/defect/wrong item claims)

We will send you instructions. Do not send items back without authorization, as it may delay or prevent processing.
8) Affiliate Products (Third-Party Purchases)
Affiliate products are not sold by The Marketplace. If you purchase from a third-party retailer after clicking an affiliate link, that retailer controls:

  • Returns and refunds

  • Exchanges

  • Shipping and delivery issues

  • Warranties

Please review the retailer’s policy on their website. If you’re unsure where you purchased an item, contact us at [support email] and we’ll help you identify the retailer.
9) Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only if they have not shipped. Contact [support email] as soon as possible. If an order has shipped, you must follow the return/exchange steps above.
10) Refund Timing
Approved refunds are typically processed within [5–10 business days] after we receive and inspect your return (timing varies by bank/payment provider). Store credit (if chosen) is typically issued within [1–3 business days] after inspection.
